  • These questions seem to be the most popular with people who are getting started with network marketing:

    • What happens when they go through there warm lead market?
    • How am I going to generate a large down-line?
    • I do not know that many people so will I be ever be able to make money?
    • Whats the “magic bullet”, what is it your saying to people that has them jumping into your opportunity?

    Well, whether you are on the Internet or offline – network marketing is “networking” and you always need to be prospecting. There are ways online to have funnels of leads come in but to be effective you still need to be able to connect with people and market yourself.  People buy people.  Of course, your business and product are something they will have interest in but the reason why they buy is because they are trusting in you as their leader.

    So if you are still wondering and saying ”I do connect with people, but people are still saying no.”,  the answer is you are not talking to enough people. If you talk to 50 people and 1 signs up for your opportunity then you know you will need to talk to another 200 people to have 4 more sign up with your business (offline). It’s strictly a numbers game. Something I will point out is, DO NOT become addicted to the outcome! If you become addicted to the outcome you are going to be frustrated and become disappointed. Not everyone you speak to is going to think your opportunity/business is the ”Holy Grail”.  When your explaining your business opportunity with people make it simple and to the point:

    “Hey Mike, I am involved in a business where I get paid to promote “XYZ”.  If you’re interested take a look. It might not be for you but if you’re looking to make some extra money let me know what you think of my site.”

    Be busy & stay busy! Always share and invite people to webinars, 3 way calls, sizzle calls, opportunity calls, and events!

    Remember – the reason why people fail in networking is because they quit. Anyone who is successful in networking is successful because they battled through the tough times because they realized anything in life where you can make ridiculous income is not going to be easy. Ask yourself this question:  Are you at the point in your current situation that you have had enough? In 2 years, where are you going to be financially? Are you going to be still behind the eight ball fighting week to week?

    I have a solution, find an opportunity/business that makes sense and build a 2-3 year plan. Network marketing is not a 12 day plan, tell 10 friends and they say no plan.  Real networking is work.  You need to put your heart and soul into it to be truly successful.  It never hurts to have a great support team in your upline either.  Make sure that you join with a true leader in your business opportunity because you are going to need their support and guidance to get through the tough times and work your way to the top!
