How To Market Yourself Online
There are four basic parts of this system:
- The Capture Page
- The Auto Responder
- Your Blog for “Brand You”
- The Funded Proposal
I wanted to give you a brief overview of each of the four components:
The Capture Page
This is a basically a one page web site where you will entice visitors to join your email list as a subscriber. You will need to offer some type of free report or something as an incentive for them to sign up. Don’t lie! Offer your prospects real, quality information. You’ll gain their trust. Trust me on this one. Always offer value to anyone you are prospecting.
The Auto Responder
Your auto responder is a tool that allows you to keep in touch with subscribers on a regular basis without having to type out individual emails to each person. This can be used for both sequential follow-up series (ie. 10 day e-course) and broadcast mailings (go to all subscribers). Over the course of time, your auto-responder list can grow quite rapidly. This is an excellent mechanism for creating continual marketing streams on auto-pilot. Again, offer your subscribers value in receiving your emails or they’ll just unsubscribe.
Your Blog for “Brand You”
As you are generating your leads, the most important thing you can do is begin to brand yourself. Not your company, not anything else, except YOU. A blog is a very easy way to begin to build this trust with your lead or subscriber – and it is very simple to maintain. Ask me for help if you need to! Having your own branded blog is one of THE most important aspects of having a successful network marketing business online. Since you can’t meet your prospects for lunch or coffee, letting them meet “you” at your blog is the next best thing.
The Funded Proposal System
This is the most powerful system for both you and your downline. A funded proposal system is basically a way for you to make money generating leads even if the lead never joins your primary business opportunity – your MLM company. You can also explore affiliate marketing systems and other similar programs. Essentially, even if your prospect doesn’t end up joining your primary business opportunity, you want to show them the tools that you use to be successful. If they sign up for any of these same tools through you, you’ll earn a commission.
